Documentation Management

Documentation management allows users to take ownership of documents and specific documentation folders. The system administration login will not be able to take ownership, or give ownership to another user, as the default owner for all documentation is System.

Procedure

  1. Select the Documents folder.
  2. Select the relevant folder, document or template, right click and select Permissions.
  3. Click Add and select the User Name.
  4. Select Take ownership.

As long as a user is the owner of a folder, they will have permission to modify that folder's permissions. This applies even in situations where the owner's 'Modify Folder' permission is removed.
